He was predeceased by: his father Charles Simon; his sons, Tim Wheeler and David Simon; and his siblings, Zoe Donna Simon, Betty Lieske, Dorothy Moore, John B. Simon and Gordon Simon.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Simon (Brown); his children, Darryl Simon of Lawrenceburg, IN, Leslie Justice (Mike) of Greendale, IN, Gil Wheeler (Stella) of Brownsburg, IN, Joe Wheeler of Franklin, IN and Ky Wheeler of Cloverdale, IN; his sisters, Barbara Simon and Linda Hancock; and his grandchildren, Stacey Roberson, Brian Wheeler, Marc Wheeler, Nathan Wheeler, Stella Anna Wheeler, Thomas Wheeler, Drew Simon, Tony Frick, Curt Frick, Michael Justice, Cory Simon and Kelli Simon. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Cloverdale Lions Club or the American Cancer Society in Charles's name.
