He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Joseph Vermillion and Elizabeth Joan Lewis Vermillion. He is survived by: his sons, Michael J. Vermillion (Sonya) and Robert J. "Goob" Vermillion, III (Mallory); his sisters, Terre Brown (Monte), Karen Eckerman and Lee Ann Cook; and his close friend Jerry Spurr. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
