He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Franklin Gibbons and Frances Gibbons (Moore); his brother Larry Gibbons; his grandparents, Alberta Ippen Moore, Otto Moore, Clarence Gibbons and Fae Jones Gibbons; and his son-in-law Lenney Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gibbons; his children, Bobby Gibbons (Lisa) and Wendy Gibbons Jackson (Jeff Link); his grandchildren, Harley Jackson Harpenau (Patrick), Abbi Lee, Hunter Jackson (Andrea), Dawson Gill and Collin Gill; his great grandchildren, Briella Gill, Jackson and Hudson Harpenau; his siblings, Randy Gibbons (Shirley) and Barbara Palmer; and his sister-in-law Debbie Gibbons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parke-Vermillion Humane Shelter in memory of Robert.
