He was predeceased by: his sister Deloris Smith. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Bannon (James) and Anthony Pine (Katherine); his granddaughter Penelope Pine; and his siblings, Rosie Milam (Don) and Ralph Pine (Pat). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
