He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary L. Cottrell, David C. Cottrell and Harold Benskin. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Cottrell and Annette Cottrell; his brothers, Robert (Cassie Cottrell) and Joshua Cottrell of Hillsdale; his grandmother Barbara Benskin of Clinton; his aunts and uncles, Jerri Henderson, Linda Flaugher, Jeff Cottrell, Dennis, Dusty and Randy Benskin; his nieces, Lilli Cormican, Morgan Garrison and Leah Brenenman; and his nephew Otto "Leo" Cottrell.
