She was predeceased by: her parents, James Yates, Sr and Estella Gertrude Sweitzer Yates; her husband Virgil Jones; and her siblings, Fred Yates, Art Yates, Thomas Yates, David Ray Yates, Gary Yates, Dorothy Yates, Betty Jean Hux and Linda Yesley.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Jones of Clinton and Jim Jones (Amy) of Clinton; her siblings, George Yates (Sharon) of Clinton, James "Jake" Yates Jr. (Marie) of Clinton, Ruth Ann Meeks of Liberty and Teresa Dowell (Rick) of Shepardsville; and her grandchildren, Evan, Alexis, Alex, Jacob, Breanna, Braydon and Audrey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
