She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Bledsoe and Elizabeth Runyan Bledsoe; her husband Samuel Benson; and her son Mark Benson. She is survived by: her son Michael Benson of Indianapolis; her daughter-in-law Yolanda Benson of South Carolina; her granddaughter Jessica Benson of South Carolina; and her great grandchild Olivia.
