He was predeceased by: his son Patrick Avenatti; and his parents, Davey Lee and Patricia Avenatti. He is survived by: his wife Judi Avenatti; his children, Chris (Jamie), Davey and Cassandra Avenatti; his grandchildren, Sarah, Eli, Alexyss, Davey and Ivy Avenatti; and his great grandchild Presley. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Throughout his life, Lee played the drums in various bands, until the pandemic made live performances impossible.
