Esther left this world on March 6, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Doan and Eva Lawson (Lawson); and her son Michael Gossett. She is survived by: her husband Martin Shepard of Clinton; her children, Bob Gossett of Clinton, Debbie Ackerly (Thom) of Indianapolis and Marti Sue Cobble (Larry) of Clinton; and her caregivers, Teresa, Tiffany, Neveah, Amanda and April. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frist Funeral Home, Inc. (458 Blackman St, Clinton, IN 47842). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Esther.
