She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Prohaska and Dorothy Alkire; her husband Jess Shannon; and her son Ron. She is survived by: her children, Jack Shannon (Brenda) of Rockville, Ed Chaney (Darlene) of Arizona and Gloria Maloney (Don) of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Michelle Pflaum (Garren) of Brooklet, GA., Verna Barkley (Ted) of Brazil, IN., Chris Chaney (Michelle) of Florida, Amy Nelson (Josh), Tracie Chaney of Alabama, Tyler Shannon (Brittney) of Bloomingdale, IN. and Cody Shannon of Rockville, IN.. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
