She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Sharer and Peal Torbert Sharer; her husband David "Lee" Richey; and her siblings, Darlean Burks, Florence Green, Ruth Mulvihill, Betty Martin, Helen Finny, Rose Sharer, Judy Harper and Albert "Butch" Sharer.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Kanizer (Michelle) of Clinton and Mary Leister (Jeff) of Clinton; her stepsons, Jon Kanizer (Dawn) of Clinton, David Kanizer (Sarah) of Owasso, OK and Jody Kanizer (Melissa) of Effingham, IL; and her grandchildren, Mercedees Jacobs (Cody) of Clinton and Trinity McManus (Keith) of Paris, IL. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
