It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia M. Hastings of Clinton, Indiana, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gracie Marie Chambers (Slavens) and Thomas Richard "Dick"; her husband James D. Hastings, Sr.; her son James "Jimmy" Hastings; her brother Tim Chambers; and her sister-in-law Toni Chambers.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve McDowell, Jeff Hastings (Paula) and Jay Hastings (Jessie); her brother Joe Chambers (Rosann); her niece Robyn; her brother Dick Chambers; her nephews, Dickie and Jim; her sister-in-law Dorothy Chambers; her nieces, Lisa and Debbie; her grandchildren, Justin Hendricks (Nick), Jessica Summerville (Codey), Jerret Hastings (Kaci), Sierra Hastings-Kelley (Gage Russell), Rodney Sullivan (Anna Martindill), Hunter Hastings and Nolan Hastings; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Emma, Owen Summerville and June Hastings.
