She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd T. Thompson Sr. and Josie Pope Thompson; her husband Larry B. Arterburn; her siblings, Harold, Gerald, Ronnie, David, Lloyd Thompson Jr. and Beverly Carmer; and her daughter Lori Anne Abner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Newby (Rick) of Columbus and Amy Abner of Clifford; her grandchildren, Mary-Ann Martin (Justus), Shelby Rogoszewski (John) and Ethan Abner; and her siblings, John Ray Thompson of Columbus, Tommy Dale Thompson of Columbus, Kathleen Ogle (Patrick) of Columbus and Becky Sue Coudill (Tracy Woods) of Taylorsville. She is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses. The family request that everyone attending dress casually and due to allergies please no flowers, perfume or cologne.
