It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carroll D. Thompson of Clifford, Indiana, born in Plymouth, Florida, who passed away on April 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace L. Thompson and Carrie M. Bray Thompson; and his former wife Wanda Burton. He is survived by: his children, Rob D. Thompson (Barb) of Columbus, Deb Fletcher of New Albany, Paul Thompson of New Albany, Troy Thompson (Becky) of Farmland, IN and Amanda Moore of North Vernon; his sisters, Doris Perry of Columbus and Norma Raines of Crawfordsville; and his daughter-in-law Donna Moore of Haydon, IN. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
