With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel L. Drake of Clayton, Indiana, born in Sullivan, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 11, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Samuel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Samuel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Drake and Lorena Drake (Schuster); and his sister Patricia Drake. He is survived by: his wife Sharlin Drake (Klintworth); his sons, Shane Drake, Bryan Drake (Heather) and John Drake; and his brothers, James Drake, Robert Drake (Marsha) and Daniel Drake.
