He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Strait and Prisilla Buck (Burkes); and his daughters, Juanita Schmidt and Nancy Strait. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Strait (Gidcumb) of Clayton; his children, Jasper Strait (Robin) of Indianapolis, Jerry Strait of Stilesville and Joshua Strait of Clayton; and his sisters, Janet Larson, Monna Sue Brown, Tressa Kissee, Drenda Buck and Ginger McGuire. He is also survived by six grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
