He was predeceased by: his father Dyrs N Owens; and his brothers, Dyrs Jr. and Donald Owens. He is survived by: his former wife Sue Brown of Claypool, IN; his son Matthew Owens (Casey); his stepmother Eva Owens (Adams) of Silver Lake, IN; his siblings, Danny Owens (Jan) of Indianapolis, IN and Kathy Jackson of North Manchester, IN; and his grandchildren, Jaden, Joshua, Jordan, Jessa, Jacie, Josie and Jolie Owens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels (2290 Provident Ct, Warsaw, IN 46580). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
