He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Martin and Ann Alberta Kinch (Rutledge); and his brothers, Joseph C. Farrara, Anthony L. Farrara and John E. Kinch.

He is survived by: his children, Fred and Susan; his wife Susan Kinch; his children, Joseph Kinch (Karen Royer) and Belinda Shepherd (Gary); his grandchildren, Riley Thomas Shepherd and Addison Nicole Shepherd; and his brother Louis Gene Kinch (Shirley).
