She was predeceased by: her parents, John Helton and Myrtle Helton (Hale); her husband Cornelius Slone; and her siblings, Carl "Dude", James Willard, John H., Fred, Ellis Helton, Thelma Hicks, Irene Phillips and Elsie Dotson.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Joe Slone, Linda Needler and Shelly Dryer; and her brother Don Helton (Janet).
