He was predeceased by: his parents, McKinley Stephens and Lola Creekmore; and his brothers, Harold Creekmore, Jack Creekmore, Ronald Creekmore, Arnold Joe Creekmore and Johnny Ray Creekmore.

He is survived by: his children, Lilliana Creekmore and Paisley Hobbs; his siblings, Jerry Creekmore Sr. (Nora), David Creekmore (Novella) and Susan Heckaman; and his sister-in-law Reatha Creekmore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
