He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Treva Bowers of Claypool, Indiana; his parents, Robert Bowers and Ruth Bowers; his children, James R. Bowers (Sharon), Jennifer Anderson (Mark), Lisa Cupit (Jeff), Blue Spring, Linda Bowers and North Manchester; and his siblings, Roger Bowers (Valerie) and Beverly Dyson (Chris). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
