He is survived by: his brother Christopher Emmett; his friends, Bill and George; his former wife Deborah L. Rector; his daughter Heather Shive (Jared); his granddaughter Roselyn of Louisville, Ohio; his daughter Amber Brandt (Richard) of Eatonville, Washington; his grandchildren, Tiffany Miller, Danielle Ross (Travis), Brooke Bright (Ashton) and Richard Brandt Jr.; his great grandchildren, Rudy Bright and Sunny Ross; his sisters-in-law, Linda Cowie of Grafton and Donna Eden Claypool; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Cowie and Junior.
