He is survived by: his wife Patricia Sturgeon; his children, Mark Sturgeon (Diana) and Amy Reece; his siblings, Barbara Funk, Dorothy Coleman, Jerry Carter (Bobbie) and David McCarty (Charlotte); and his grandchildren, Virginia Smith (Dennis), Ethan Reece (Whitney), Lindsey Anderson (Tony), Victoria Reece and Alyssa Curl (Mike). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
