She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schmidt and Barbara Schmidt (Tiefel); her husband Donald Targett; her siblings, Jean Harbaugh, Virginia Salter and Fred Schmidt; her nephew Marvin Harbaugh; and her grandson-in-law Tony Hayden.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Nowak (Ray), Donna Ream (Jim), Nancy Apple (Steve) and Mike Targett (Darlene); and her grandchildren, Doug Ream (Annette), Brian Ream (Shelly), Tim Ream, Debbie Hayden, Jamie Smith (Kirk), Jason Apple (Stephanie), Chad Apple, Christopher Targett (Sharayah) and Shelby Hofmann (Dylan). She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
