He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Nickless and Ruby Mae Nickless (Shephard); his brothers, John Nickless, Harold "Nick" Nickless and Joe Nickless; and his granddaughter Jessica Nickless.
He is survived by: his wife Karenina Jacqueline Nickless (Storm); his children, Monte Nickless (Tamara) of Linton, Eric Nickless (Karen) of Coal City, Indiana and Melyssa Greer (Tom) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his grandchildren, Jason Minnick, Mark Minnick, Andrea Flemming, Ashlee Lopez, Anna Boland, Amy Fondriest and Oaklee Nickless; and his sister Mary Adams (George) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
