He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Gerber (Weatherwax); his wife Shirley Gerber (Worth); his father Bud Gerber; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Ann Gerber; and his granddaughter Tobi Lynn Gerber.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Gerber (Elena), Joe Gerber and Jill Wier (Gary); his grandchildren, Alex Gerber (Alicia), Ashlee Gerber, Cody Gerber (Kelsie), Cameron Collins (Adam), Chelsee Rash (Jordan) and Mitch Wier; and his great grandchildren, Delaney Gerber, Liam Gerber, Luke Gerber, Lane Gerber, Gabby Gerber, Greyson Gerber, Addi Collins, Avery Collins, Abe Collins, Collyn Rash, Jozee Rash and Jaxon Rash.
