He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy; and his parents, Charles and Crystal Clutts. He is survived by: his daughter Leah Butters; his granddaughter Brooke Lowe (Donald); his great grandchildren, Jaryd and Avary Lowe; and his siblings, Pamela Land and Mark Butters.
