Schauwecker; his wife Rosallie Bess; his brother Willard Bess; his son David Bess (Chris); his sisters, Opal Atkisson and Glenda Enderson; his granddaughters, Christina Vargas (Roberto), Leah and Emily Bess; his great grandchildren, Sebastian and Eliza Rose Vargas; his nephew Larry Edmondson; and his niece Linda Wynn.
