She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Schepper; and her husband Harold Smith. She is survived by: her child Kimmi (Putoff); her grandchildren, Cory Deckard (Rusty), Steven Cooper (Jennifer), Kole Smith, Trevor Smith (Lindsey) and Karlee Smith; her great grandchildren, Kaleb Deckard (Jonica), Kody Deckard, Kendra Deckard, Raelynn Cooper and Caden Cooper; and her siblings, Joellen Nicoson and John Schepper (Kim). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clay County Humane Society, 8280 N County Rd 125 W #7535, Brazil, IN 47834 in honor of her beloved companions, Yawny and Chico.
