He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jackson and Naomi Ernestine Dierdorff Jackson; his former wife Ruth Rollison Jackson; and his siblings, Lee, Joe, Darrell Jackson and Phyllis Lints.

He is survived by: his wife Leealla Klass Jackson; his daughter Linda Jackson (Howard McDonald); his brother Marvin Jackson (Connie); his stepsons, Jay Grafe (Linda) and Steve Grafe (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Smith and Derek Smith; his stepgrandsons, Logan Jukes, Lauren Grafe, Jeremy Vossen and Savannah Grafe; and his great grandchildren, Alex and Karsyn Jukes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
