She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank D. Hambermel and Irene S. Habermel; her husband R. Lynn Peters; her siblings, Janet Nolot (Art) and Robert Habermel; and her nephew Kevin Nolot.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Vicky Habermel; her niece Melody Atkins (Tom); and her nephew Tony Habermel (Dawn).
