He is survived by: his wife Peggy Croninger Ortensie; his children, Samantha Burgess (Brett) of Clarksville, Angelina Ortensie of Clarksville and Christopher Ortensie of Clarksville; his parents, David Bruce Ortensie Sr. and Shirlene Bennett Ortensie of Clarksville; his siblings, David Ortensie Jr. (Tammy) of Clarksville and Gina Beaver (Tim) of Clarksville; and his grandchildren, Tony Burgess, Arya Burgess and Brooklyn Burgess.
