He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Stone and Earlene Stone; his wife Betty Joyce; his brother Chester Gene Stone; his nephews, Brian and Steven; and his great-niece Makayla.
He is survived by: his caregiver Barbara Griffin (Roy) of Jeffersonville, IN; his siblings, Dolph Stone (Jean) of New Albany, IN and Mary Stone of Evansville, IN; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Misty, Faith Ann, Jennifer, Heather, Justin, Bobby and Jonathan. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bates Hill Cemetery (7359 Bates Rd, Newburgh, IN 47630).
