He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schafer and Patricia Schafer (Baker); and his brother Robert Schafer. He is survived by: his daughter Dori Schafer (Kristian Hedstrom); his grandchildren, Liam and Avery Hedstrom; his siblings, Dawn Schafer, Celine Day (John) and Marty Schafer (Penny); and his former wife Marilyn Schafer. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
