Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phalis Backherms (Clarksville, Indiana), born in Laconia, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 93, on April 27, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus "Dooch" and Nora Backherms; his wife Martha Jean Backherms; and his siblings, Kenneth Backherms, Charley Backherms, Lois Shewmaker, Lucille Fleace, Jim Backherms and Morris Backherms.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Backherms and Pam Kimmel (Bill); his grandchildren, Kristina Stubblefield (Josh) and Will Kimmel (Erica); his great grandchildren, William and Waylon; and also Carollee Moore.
