He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George R. Bender and Cecelia K. Bender of Cleveland, OH.; his wife Shirley J. Besch; his former wife Doris B. Rigsby of Clarksville, IN.; and his sons, Tim Bender (Gail) of Okemos, MI, Michael Bender (Denise) of Denver, CO, David Bender (Gail) of Saginaw, MI and Jeffrey Bender (Alisha) of Redondo Beach, CA. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
