She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Collier and Bertha Collier; her son Kenneth L. Carey; and her siblings, Virgil Collier, Jerry Collier, Jenny Hardwick, Jimmy Collier and Estill Collier.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Carey, Sr.; her children, Lisa D. Wanty (Mike) of Clarksville, William G. Carey, Jr. (Tami) of Charlestown and Estill "Alan" Carey (Tammy) of Jeffersonville; her grandchildren, Phillip Carey (Kendall), Jessica Parker, Elizabeth Bentley, Chris Wanty, Cailen Medcraft (John) and William G. Carey III; and her siblings, Carol Caudill and Mike Collier. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
