She was predeceased by: her parents, H. B. Roberts and Mayola Powell Roberts; her husband Jerry Ashabranner; and her stepdaughter Kim Kruer of Greenville. She is survived by: her children, Karen Lawson of Jeffersonville, Greg Lawson (Barbara) and Jeff Lawson (Shannon) of Clarksville; her stepsons, Kevin Ashabranner of New Albany and Jim Ashabranner of Nashville, TN.; her grandsons, Brandon Lawson (Mari) of Jeffersonville, Brent Lawson of Clarksville and Aaron Lawson of Utica; her stepgranddaughter Elizabeth Hutchins; her great grandchildren, Iris Lawson of Jeffersonville, Karlie Hutchins of Clarksville and Kyle Hutchins of Clarksville; and her brothers, Hubert B. Roberts (Carol) and Ken Roberts (Gity) of Louisville.
She retired from the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. Foundation in Jeffersonville, Indiana where she was Administrative Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer.
