She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lamke and Norma Willcox Lamke of New Albany, Indiana.. She is survived by: her husband William A. Schwender; her children, Phillip Schwender and Liz Schwender Farris (Trent Farris); her grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Chase Farris; and her siblings, Barbara Joyce Lamke Denny and Chester Lamke.

Donations can be made to St. Anthony School in Memory of Laura.
