He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Johnson (Wittry); and his stepfather Cecil Sandlin. He is survived by: his children, Danny Johnson (Tracy), Andy Johnson (Rebecca) and Melissa Mayfield (Jason); his siblings, Kathy Wagner (Joe), Gail Sandlin, Debbie Daub, Mike Sandlin (Kim), Cherri Sandlin and Cris Sandlin (Anna); and his grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Vincent and Karma.
