He was predeceased by: his father Ronald L. Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Dawson (Niehaus); his children, Ron Dawson (Kim), Nick Dawson and Shannon Heacox (Kyle); his stepdaughters, Sara Elmore (Thomas) and Renee Davis (Micah); his mother Lois Virginia Dawson (Stevens); his siblings, Zack, Clay Dawson, Val Vertrees and Kelly Setser; and his grandchildren, Alex Stigger, Emmie Elmore, Landon Davis, Logan Davis and Audrey Davis.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown (9318 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
