He is survived by: his wife Odette Hammonds; his children, Paul Hammonds (Emily), Michael Hammonds (Kim) and Gertrude "Eva" Hammonds; his grandchildren, Michael, Mykela, Malique, Trenton, Jaisen and Nicholas Hammonds; and his siblings, Edythe Carruthers, Dorrine Chumley (Johnny), Virgil Hammonds, Joe Hammonds (Patricia), Michelle Raines, Sherry Batchelor (Gerald) and Hope Hammonds. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapman Funeral Home (431 W Harrison Ave, Clarksville, IN 47129). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
