He was predeceased by: his father Jessie Ganey; his son George Leon Ganey; his grandson Matthew Edwards Ganey; and his siblings, Atterene, Lydia, Suzie, Claudia, Jean, Charlie, Billy, Danny, Mary and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Ganey; his sons, Robert Ganey (Monic) and Roger Ganey (Tammy Meredith); his grandchildren, Michael Ganey, Zachary Ganey, Amanda Ganey and Whitney Ganey; and his siblings, Betty, Earl, Linda and Sue. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
