He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Nighbert Long and Rufus Mitchell Long; and his grandson Derrick Long. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Long of Charlestown, Jeff Long of Charlestown and Gary Long (Gail) of Wetumpka, AL; and his grandchildren, Allison Lunday of Arizona, Kelley White of Washington, Jeffery Long of Clarksville and Robert Long of Clarksville. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
