He was predeceased by: his father Leonard Weidner. He is survived by: his wife Pat Weidner (O'Leary); his daughters, Sarah Weidner-House (Tim) and Meghan Richard (Steven); and his sisters, Rose Mary Miller (Ron) and Patricia Rury (L. Ron).

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Bruce's memory be made to the following: Province of Our Lady of Consolation.
