He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Carrie (Vogt) and Lorenzo "Otto" Willie Winsatt; and his siblings, Raymond Winsatt, Otto Winsatt Jr., Ida Mae Gaddis, Libby Marks, Virginia Riggle and Patricia Winsatt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda "Sue" Winsatt; his sons, David Bradley Winsatt (Sharon), Bruce William Winsatt (Paula), Richard Allen Winsatt (Maggie) and Michael James Winsatt (Jennifer); and his sisters, Betty Wimsatt and Martha Hartstern (John). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
