He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Doke and Sarah Doke (Platt); his wife Shirley Smith; his son Kim Doke; and his siblings, Everett Doke Jr., William Doke, Betty Watkins and Wilbur Doke.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Amber Miller (Scott) of West Point, Andrew Doke of Clarks Hill, Ashley Coleman (Shawn) of Colfax and Aaron Doke (Hannah) of Clarks Hill; his great grandchildren, Caitlyn (Brendan), Lily, Aubrey, Clara, Breyann, Wyatt, Charlee, Jeanna, Carter and Carsten; his siblings, Patty Blacker of Colfax, Ethel Reigle of Flora and James Doke of Lebanon; and his daughter-in-law Sue Doke. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clarks Hill Christian Church (9510 Pearl St, Clarks Hill, IN 47930). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Wayne's honor to the Clarks Hill Christian Church, 9510 Pearl Street, Clarks Hill, IN 47930.
