He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Davis and Mary Davis (Hodges); his siblings, William Jackson, Mary Gordon, JoAnn Rich and Linda Lemen; and his in-laws, Melvin and Phyllis Wheeler.
He is survived by: his significant other Rosa Jean Wheeler; his sons, Jamie Davis (Tracy) of Clarks Hill and Bill Davis of Clarks Hill; his grandchildren, Courtney, Bryce and Jayden; his great grandchild Jack; his siblings, Danny Joe Davis of Lafayette and Lola Smith of Frankfort; and his brother-in-law Len Wheeler (Tina) of Lafayette. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
