She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Robert and Florence Lydia Clare; her brother Douglas Clare; and her husband Christopher van Dyck Brown. She is survived by: her daughters, Kipleigh Brown-Phillips of Glendale, CA, Neilia Brown-McGuinness of Noblesville, IN and Alisa Brown-Steady of Fox Lake, IL..
