He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Klinger. He is survived by: his father Philip Klinger; his wife Elaine Breen; his sons, Philip Klinger (Morgan Ault) and Samuel Klinger (Elaine); and his sisters, Susan Gentry (Kevin), Lisa Deas (Reggie) and Cindy Klinger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
